Health + Safety
Mountain Maid Cleaning takes your health and safety very seriously.
Before coming to your home, we will review the Covid-19 health and safety checklist. Masks will be worn upon request, if a client is high-risk, or if the client needs to be home during their appointment. We will wear gloves from start to finish during any visit to our clients' homes. We will follow our public health guidelines and reschedule if we are exhibiting any symptoms, or if we’ve had exposure to a person with Covid-19 symptoms. We will also reschedule if we are awaiting test results.
We kindly ask that our clients please follow the same protocols, and reschedule if anyone in the home answers YES to any of the following questions:
Prior to each appointment please review the following questions:
1. Have you travelled outside of BC in the last 14 days?
2. Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19 or are waiting for results from a COVID-19 test?
3. Have you been in contact with a suspected, probable or confirmed case of COVID-19?
4. Have you visited a location with a known outbreak of COVID-19 identified by the PHO?
5. Do you have any symptoms of COVID-19, even if mild?
Symptoms:
• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Tiredness/fatigue
• Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
• Sore throat
• Headache
• Muscle or body aches
• Loss of taste or smell
• Diarrhea
• Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
In these days of working from home, it’s not always possible for you to leave the house while we are cleaning. However, we do ask if possible that you are NOT home while we are cleaning to ensure the highest level of safety for ourselves and our clients. If you have to be home, you must stay self-isolated in a designated room, preferably with a closed door. When it’s time for us to clean that room, we will have you move to a room we have already completed. If you need to leave your designated work-room, please let us know and mask up so that we can safely manoeuvre throughout your home.
